The shattered wings of bold dream from some bold new comers of Mollywood lead by Santhosh Viswanath . Though they can be proud of their project amidst of thumps up all round ! The film has been well accepted in the social network and medias even then it is facing show reductions after the weekend which difficult to digest.
Mollywood is the land of crafted film makers it has broken barriers from time to time. Taste of film goers also has changed as majority of film goers are of youth. Change of social values to entertaining elements largely influences viewer�s interest in watching the cinema. The so called �spoof� might not have reached our Malayalees
Film needs not only good reviews but respectable occupancy to cover a two week run at present circumstance to satisfy the channel mugals to attract reasonable revenue and to reach a break even. The film which beat all round the so called clich�s of the Mollywood failed to get real �clich� of the public sense. Malayalee proudly talks of serious cinemas and experimental rarity. But the experimental movies have never had a big say in the box office they always fails and this film is also not exception. Failure of this film will put a block on future experimental cinemas. This film has collected around 1.40 Cr in first week which is below average.
Box office wise , out three releases of last week Only Chandretten evidaya survive. Good come back by Dileep with next door man role and slowly and steadily film picks up in collection as the WOM spread. Compared to other Dileep films it had low key release and had 75 screens last week. Collected around 3.20 Cr in first week . Whether it will be hit at box office depends up on how it will handle the pressure of coming weeks films.
Bhasker the rascal is a mega hit of the season collection still good at certain big cities and average at small centers. Going to celebrate 25 days in 63 screens which absolutely fantastic. It will cross 9,000 show mark by this week , the second film to achieve the milestone in 2015. Selfie is the first film. Collects 11.80 Cr in three weeks.
Oru II class yathra opened to good report and has released widely in Kerala and out of Kerala as well. Good to see that small films releases big . Vineeth still to prove his acting potentials , expecting this film will be the one. Reports are that of Chemben Vinod has field day in the movie
