From Silent Month to highly productive month. Mollywood enters in to second month of 2015 with plenty of big films planned including one of Mega star Mammooty. Today, the prestigious Friday Film house presents Aaduin front of Mollywood viewers.
Picket 43 sure shot Super Hit most likely to be reduced to a Hit due to flood of releases. As we blogged last week this film had fabulous second week with screen count touching to 75. With its good WOM the film has entered in to 5 Crore and is at 5.30 Cr in 13 days with 3,200 shows. Major Ravi Prithvi combo has given first hit of 2015. Due to its restricted budget film enters in to profit zone with rights.
I hold on far better than expected in unbelievable 80 plus screens. Remember this is the third week in Kerala. Worldwide collection jumped in to 200 Crore and all set to break record created by Yenthiran. Kerala has given 17.60 Crore to its credit. Mega Hit in Kerala
Milli plays second fiddle to Prithvi film and is performing exceptionally well considering the different genre it belongs. Though a heroine oriented film Nivin Pauly still has his lucky star status and it may fetch an average grosser status. Collects around 3 Crore in 13 days as some more screens are added to its fold!
Mariam Mukku little unlucky as it has reduced shows in several screens. Rasam as predicted last week is a huge disaster.
This week busy week:
Yennai Arindhal has about 100 screens in Kerala and opened to mixed WOM . Ajith has good number of fans in Kerala and was apparent in many centers. Mass opening with around 1.20 Cr in Kerala.
Aadu oru Beeghara Jeeviyannu has one time watchable WOM and the comedy element likely to bring some good initial pull to the movie. The strange name can be a plus point .Wide release in around 80 screens and had decent opening at various centers.
