Danger signal to the star who is considered to be as pet of the family audience. Need something brilliant from Villali veeran in Onam time to come out of the mess.
Vikramadhithyan , hit from Lal Jose � Dulquar � Unni combo still the hot favorite of the season. It has easily passed 7 crore mark in 13 days and may have couple of more excellent weekend at theaters. Most likely a Super Hit at box office. It had defeated even the adverse climate in weekend in many centers. Enjoys screen count of 70 plus. Around 4,200 shows completed and has the chance of crossing 8,000 shows in the long run with life time gross in between 11 to 12 Crore.
Manglish Inching towards Megastar Mammooty�s first hit of 2014 status. The collection has seen drop mainly due to rains otherwise it would have crossed 6 Crore mark in 11 days but restricted to 4.80 Crore. New releases tent to reduce the show count to nearly half presently it has covered around 3,100 shows. The mixed WOM and it is seen as comfortable package for fans of the star so still chances are there at major cities. It is unfair to release Father & Son movies together as it create unnecessary competition which should be avoided.

From Eid onwards �masala �is on full swing in Mollywood , no serious attempt for experiment on treatment or on plot. As usual just masala all the way! The festival requires masala but cinema need to redefine its notions all the time. Apothecary brightens the hopes of a cinema worth watch. Address of the director Madhav Ramdas lies in his film �melvilasam, a film of different genre and approach. But each film should be viewed in the Initial report of great film on the card but sadly lukewarm response at box office so far. The excellent WOM so far and it may generate splendid box office report. I wholeheartedly pray for it.
Reports of Njan Steve Lopez is pointing towards a thriller genre. Director Rajeev Ravi does not want to be branded as a romantic film director. Good way of thinking. Farhal Fazil and Ahaana in the lead.
