1. Maheshinte Prathikaram
This Dileesh Pothen directed film is the biggest surprise of 2016 so far. In the era of sensational marketing this film released in a low key affair without any hype but conquered box office day by day getting highly positive reviews and WOM. Remember it had to face much hyped Biju on the day of release. But by Monday it overtook Biju by big margin through remarkable growth in the collection. The week passed also saw huge increase in number of shows due to houseful shows. Big comeback by Fahad Fazil who was in desperate need of a hit and thankfully it is heading for a more than a hit. Collects around 4.30 Cr , which can be rated as an excellent opening considering screen count is lesser than 70 . Normally this blogger rankings are based on the collection wise though in total it lags bit but due to the spectacular performance of the film during the week days ensures it the top one movie of this week.
2. Action Hero Biju
The widest released film in the recent time suffered unbelievable drop from Monday onward. The drop was so huge that it was hold over in many screens. The film has mixed WOM but in the region of one time watchable opinion with whole hearted support from the media critics even then it could capitalize at box office is a point need to be thoroughly analyzed . Collection for the weekend was decent but the drop in the weekend never expected. It could not even garner 30% in many screens in the weekdays and thus it invited large removals. The future run and revenues is at present forgone conclusion and the film may hold few screens under pressure from LJ films. Collects around 5.10 Cr and has covered all the releasing centers due to the mass release it had. From Good opening to average weekend and finally to below average to poor week days collection, all in one week !
3. Pavada
The slow but steady in the last week . The movie has done its business by covering the cost from theater itself. Heading towards 10,000 show. To be honest to admit this blogger never expected this film will touch 10,000 mark . More over the film has travelled in to 13 Cr and is now at 13.65 Cr by holding nearly 70 plus screens. Super Hit
4. Two Countries
Touches gigantic 15,000 show level. More importantly it had around 60 plus screens in it kitty in the seventh week , outstanding performance at box office. This all time block buster now has 31.75 Cr in credit. Still chances of collecting some more even after celebrating 50th day in Kerala. Congrats to the team 2C for the spectacular success.

The films of 2015 Christmas celebrated 50 golden days�. Charlie believed to have collected around 40 Cr across the world majority of the other parts of world is from GCC countries where collection stands at All Time Blockbuster range. In Kerala it has gone past 20 Cr . Kapyar on the other hand has collected 8 .20 Cr in Kerala alone which is extra ordinary for the small film. All these films are profitable from theater run itself.
