How is the Christmas for Mollywood?
Lack of sweetness in the success of Mollywood Christmas season. No big win , No good WOM � just an average to below average WOM. Holliday crowds ended up with confusion literally swayed by PK though it had nominal screen count in Kerala.
Cousins leads due to its multi star advantage and hype it carried. But it was not a runaway hit but better placed at box office as others fell way behind. Lucky enough to get some houseful shows here and there but otherwise an average to below average at box office. The first week collection is 2.15 Crore in around 80 screens
Aamayum Muyalum� another flop for Priyadharshan , the man who created many blockbusters brings out a lackluster in box office . Struggling to keep screens and show count in the second week. Nedumudi Venu and Innocent rule the time space of majority in the film and Jayasurya shelved to the side unutilized. 1.30 Crore in first week in around 75 plus screens
Nagaravaridhilyil Naduvil Njan opened on Christmas day with mixed opinion. Sreenivasan script on Swach bharath but clean theaters without my crowd is the result as of now. Initial WOM is not encouraging at box office which has presence in around 65 screens.
P.K has swept the season with outstanding performance at box office. This bollywood film out shined in show counts in many multiplexes in Kerala. It has crossed 200 crore in India and Kerala share is around 1.70 Crore in 9 days
