Ramdan Kareem to all.
Mollywood is bereft of buzz and business. Lack of notable release is an indicator of the present day grave scenario which is going to continue for at least three weeks more.
Bangalore Day reign the box office without any challenger. By 34 days it collects around 21 Crore in Kerala with around 12,000 shows. Main advantage of this multi starrer is lack of any competition. This Anjali Menon blockbuster will be treated as largest grosser in the rest of India collection which is around 3 crore in four weeks. The acceptability of Mollywood movies outside of Kerala is on the rise. Remember it got released in 105 screens in rest of India show casing the increase reach of Malayalam cinema. It holds on to 74 screens in Kerala though collection has hit low in many centers. Due to fasting many centers in Malabar region is almost on hold over stage but lack of options compel the theater owners to play it with limited shares offer.
Angry babies in love by its low budget inching towards to safe zone with collection of around 2.55 Crores in 19 days with around 3,300 shows. It may be the first solo hit for Anoop Menon if it could survive some more days in major centers.
How Old Are You to celebrate 50 days in grand manner in around 25 screens. Collects around 12 Crore in Kerala with 10.300 shows. Great come back by Manju warrior and solid consistency by director Roshan Andrews. Last but not least consolation for Kunchako Boban.
Monayi Angane Anayi is missed chance for Aju. Mollywood should learn lot from its nieghbours. Latest hits from Tamil nadu full of either new comers or 6th or 7th range of stars. Film like Mundaaspatti storms the box office with returns but Mollywood unable to provide success from its last range of stars.
