One more week of lack of enthusiasm at theaters due to heavy rain in majority of the state plus Ramzan fast. At the same one more week remaining for full fledged reel rolling in Mollywood.
Bangalore Day celebrates 50 days today in grand manner. Around 70 screens in Kerala and 17 in rest of India. Collection stands at 23.50 Crore in 48 days . It had excellent res of India collection with an impressive 4.30 Crore. BD has started well at overseas though untimely release in Gulf but managed to hold on well. Overseas collection is stated around 4 crore. This Anjali menon youth entertainer become second highest grosser in Mollywood . The extend honey moon with theaters all set to end by this week due to emergence of fresh release of Ramzan. I am eager to see whether it can reach my prediction dated 27/06/2014 of 28 Crore in Kerala. The last three week has been highly tough due to the dull in the industry. But there is steady flow of show count which is now roaming around 15,800. It is likely to become second highest showed film in Mollywood.
Vegham , Angry babies in love and How Old Are You continues in major centers but not making any impact on the box office.
Friday Matinee likes houseful Fridays so waiting for next Friday to see how Vikramadhithyan, Manglish, I�m Tonny to wake up the theaters once again.
